HMRC Returns

To begin, select the HMRC Returns option from the radio buttons, then click Run Report.

This will present you with a confirmation box, telling you exactly what the process will do.

Clicking Cancel will close the message with no action taken. Clicking Continue will close the message and expand the page and display further form fields to fill out.

The Tax year and Tax month will be prepopulated based on the current date. You can select all, or individual companies. The bottom three radio buttons deviate slightly from the desktop version, but ensure it is simpler to use. The options are:

  • Set the amount paid in the company totals from this report
  • Do not set the amount paid in the company totals from this report
  • Include current open pay cycle and run as provisional report

The options are self explanatory – the first sets and updates the paid amounts in the company totals, whereas the second does not. The third option is for if you have an open pay cycle and want to include those figures in a provisional report. This will not update the company totals.

Once you have made your selections, click Run report. Once this has completed, the card will update and you will be able to download and view the report.

Please note that if you navigate away from the page, the report will no longer be available to download.
